As for us and most couples, swapping is one key component of the relationship in the swinging lifestyle.
However, there is always an underlying question that comes with each encounter: Should couples enjoy the action in the same room, or should they head to separate rooms?. The short answer is, depends on the participants' preferences.
Personally, I and Danuthri, have experienced both of these situations and are comfortable to enjoy the session equally. But again, depending on our partner's preferences.
Swinging In the Same Room
When we started in to this lifestyle, one of the biggest kinks we both had was seeing eachother indulging in sexual pleasures with someone else. So we had our initial meetups in the same room with other partnres and we were so happy that the couples we met, honored our preferences.
One other reason to pick 'same room' in our initial steps was, Danuthri felt safe when I also play around her. She was still gaining her confidence and exploring comfortness at that time. And even when we started meeting couples in a group setting, we still sticked on to 'same room' at times because the view you have is such a turn on.
You will also find some couples enjoy being able to touch each other while couple swapping and may even take their primary partner to task a time or two, as well.
So for these reasons and if your preferences also matches to this, same room sex is the choice for you.
Swinging In Separate Rooms
We play in seperate rooms when we are comfortable with our swinging partners. There are some of Danuthri's partners who she regularly plays with and who she is comfortable with; and every time we play, she drags the guy (in some occasions the girl) to a seperate room for some alone time. She says that it's infact a turn on for her to have a passionate session seperately.
However there are some men—and a few women—who simply never get past homophobia where they simply cannot stand the idea of someone of the same sex seeing them naked. Some partners don’t care to watch their lover with another, as they would prefer to focus on their own pleasure by being in a separate room.
Swinging separately provides certain couples with greater levels of sexual freedom. In these cases, separate rooms can ensure everyone has a good time.
