5 Movies and TV shows to spice up your Swinging Lifestyle

The simplest way to put this title into perspective is, what movies and TV shows are out there for you to learn a thing or two about the swinging lifestyle. Or if you are still in the early stages of this lifestyle, maybe you want to see how your partner might respond to the idea of consensual non-monogamy?.

Swing on Playboy TV

This show was featured on Playboy TV and is much more extensive than its competitors in the list. The series contains 5 seasons and an extensive list of episodes. It's fun to watch, a bit educational, and a great way to start a conversation with your partner. Even if you don’t decide to test the swinging waters, watching Swing is a good way to start a sexy, intimate evening with your loved one.

Open Invitation – A Real Swingers Party in San Francisco

To tell you guys the truth, this movie is more of an adult video than the usual movie you watch. India Summer features in this movie and we think it does have a sense of a script (somewhat towards the real-life swinging experience).

Palm Swings

A 2019 movie featuring Tia Carrere about a young couple that moves to Palm Springs and has their relationship tested after they discover their neighbors are swingers. The movie shows the ups and downs inside of their relationship and our personal opinion is that it does bring out some sensibility of the lifestyle.

Personally, we wouldn't recommend you to pick this as your first flick with your partner to open about swinging.

Swung

Is a movie released in 2015 in the UK and which could have a reasonable impact on your movie date. The story is a bit different compared to the other titles in the list. But it surely is a great way to see a different side of the whole community.

Wanderlust

Featuring Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Aniston & Paul Rudd, wanderlust portrays an open relationship. This would be a film to start things off slowly. Not highly rated, but still a great one which brings out the concept of an open relationship to the audience.

Now, these are 5 movies that we can pitch in on our blog today. But watching the movie itself would not cut you both in any specifics.

Our advice is to create a comfortable, sensual atmosphere. Maybe keep some snacks ready or if you both want to relax your nerves a bit, open up a tab and pour your selves a chilled drink (which contains a little bit of alcohol of course 😉🤣) and sensually cuddle together as you settle in to watch a movie.

This is to all the first-time couples who have messaged us lately asking ways to open up this conversation with each other. Make sure to take all the time you need to compliment your partner during the movie. Let your partner know they look better to you than the sexy people on the screen. The more you reassure your partner that you find them sexy, the more likely they are to view swinging in a positive light without fear or insecurity.

After the episode, you both can keep cuddling each other or take your partner to the bed (now I'm not gonna go into details about what you have to do when you go there 😉). But while the movie is on the way, and you see that both you and your partner are in a relaxed moment, you can ask your partner if they were ever curious about what a real swinger relationship looked like. Or if they would like to talk about the idea of swinging. But it's vital that you take baby steps.

We get a lot of requests from couples every day and after several messages we can clearly see through them that they lack patience when comes to setting up their journey. You definitely don’t want to scare your partner and ruin any possibility of openly discussing this topic ever again.

Another thing we can ask you to do is to communicate with each other about how each one of you feels and what questions you both have for each other. After a good bit of communication, you should have a good feeling about how your partner feels towards the lifestyle. Take your time to learn & educate yourself so that you can guide yourself and your partner into this lifestyle, or even to strengthen your relationship.
